McMurray Middle School

Since 2016, Harpeth Hills has been supporting the teachers and families at McMurray Middle School. McMurray, located off Nolensville Pike, is home to many of Nashville’s newest families and boasts incredible diversity with over forty-six languages spoken daily at school. Our focus is broken into three main groups. The first being a support for the families in the surrounding community. Second, support for the students, helping them receive any sort of resource that they may need: food, clothing, school supplies. Finally, a support system for the teachers to encourage their efforts.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: help to sort and pack food/clothing boxes for distribution to families, tutoring, assist teachers with various activities, serve monthly teacher/staff lunches, assist in the library, prayers for teachers and students, etc.
