When In Rome
Unstoppable Series

Acts 28:11-31
The UNSTOPPABLE plan of God doesn’t always move quickly. In fact, you might say it rarely does. Often you find yourself feeling stuck. You dream of doing grand things with God and instead you find yourself in the grind of staring at the same four walls, day after day. On the one hand Paul was in Rome. On the other hand, Paul was in chains…locked down on house arrest. The adventure with God seemed to have come to a crawl. “For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house…and welcomed all who came to see him.” (Acts 28:30). Was this the end of the story? Hardly….
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or posers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Colossians 1:15-17
Words like that would be sent out in letters, reprinted more times than could ever be counted and spoken in nearly every language and by every people group on earth for the next 2,000 years. The purpose of God really is UNSTOPPABLE.
