Tennessee Prison Outreach Ministry

Tennessee Prison Outreach Ministry (TPOM) provides spiritual, educational, and economic support to both currently and formerly incarcerated individuals. Additionally, TPOM provides support to families affected by incarceration. Through these programs, TPOM aims to eliminate the generational cycle of incarceration and allow incarcerated individuals to live freely in the grace of God. Harpeth Hills supports TPOM’s transitional housing program and their work inside local prisons. TPOM’s website provides more information on their history and mission.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: mentoring in juvenile facilities, prisons, jails, or in the reentry program, providing a meal for the transitional housing residents one Sunday night a month, worshipping/fellowshipping with the residents on Sunday evenings, prayers for all volunteers, staff, and residents.
