Dave Aston and Robert Day were able to get the trailer and truckload of supplies, including all 7 tons of water and sports drinks, to Banner Elk, NC. They are returning home now, stopping in Johnson City to leave a trailer. Today’s traffic has been slow-moving, with crews working on the many downed power lines. Once they return, decisions will be made on what we can do next to aid in recovery efforts.
